So, it appears to have been approximately 3 weeks since my last post. I've had a few things going on, such as:
- Completely changing my running style/mechanics (no more heel striking here)
- Totally re-working the way I eat (I'm paleo now, if you're interested)
- A fun trip to the doctor's that resulting in my purchasing my very own blood pressure monitor (yay.)
- a new dead lift PR (yay!)
- a vacation to Jamaica (yay!)
So yeah, I've been a little busy.
I'm not even going to try to go back and update all of my WODs. Let's just say that with the WODs 3 times a week, a heavy lift day and paleo, I am noticing good things. My strength is increasing. I've moved from jumping pull-ups to using the green resistance band. I am still very tired, but I think that's still the initial paleo hangover, if you will. Judging by the people I've spoken to, the second week seems to be the worst. I'm getting ready to start week 3, so here's hoping it gets better.
